Job DescriptionJob Description

Jada Systems is currently seeking a talented application developer to work with the Los Angeles Housing Department (LAHD) on an exciting and dynamic project The selected candidate will work with the city's web-based departmental systems for an initial period of 12 months to develop applications to manage diverse housing projects, maintain production support for housing systems, and create user guidelines. 

 

Experience: 

A minimum of 6 years of experience in a related field/capacity is required for this position. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop high-quality software design and architecture using .NET Framework and .NET Core. 

  • Identify, prioritize, and execute tasks in the software development life cycle. 

  • Develop tools and applications by producing clean, efficient code. 

  • Automate tasks through appropriate tools and scripting. 

  • Review and debug code 

  • Perform validation and verification testing. 

  • Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to fix and improve products. 

  • Document development phases and monitor systems.  
     

Qualifications: 

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience in software development roles. 

  • Demonstrated proficiency as a .NET Developer/Application Developer, with a robust portfolio 

  • showcasing completed projects. 

  • Deep understanding of the .NET Framework, .NET Core, and familiarity with modern design and architectural patterns, including experience with ASP.NET Core Blazor. 

  • Expertise in programming languages such as C#, .NET, along with front-end technologies (HTML/CSS, JavaScript). 

  • Practical experience with database management, specifically Microsoft SQL Server, and proficiency in Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks like Entity Framework. 

  • Knowledge and experience implementing Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and containerization with Docker. 

  • A thorough grasp of Agile development methodologies, demonstrating an ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and timelines. 

  • Exceptional attention to detail with superior troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. 

  • Experience with AWS cloud services is considered beneficial
