Our client is growing and looking to hire an accountant that will lead and perform operational accounting duties to effectively support the firm; duties include a variety of accounting activities related to month-end and year-end closes, account reconciliations, and handle multiple projects.

ACCOUNTANT | CONTRACT TO HIRE | ONSITE - DALLAS, TX (Medical District)
$27-28/HOUR | PAID BENEFITS & GROWTH
GREAT CULTURE & COLLABARTIVE TEAM ENVIRONMENT



Responsibilities:

  • Bank Statement Reconciliation
  • Handle Accounts Payable duties assuring proper classification to Jobs and Cost Centers, and timely payment of bills
  • Handle Accounts Receivable duties preparing TSG Invoice Drafts for review by Project Manager, Finalize and Issue
  • Assure timely payment of outstanding invoices
  • Prepare periodic cash requirement schedules as needed
  • Maintain the Project Accounting Folders updated them as needed
  • Assist upper management as needed
  • Communicate with Clients and Vendors as needed


Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting REQUIRED
  • Minimum of 5+ of full cycle corporate accounting experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.)
  • Experience with QuickBooks, or other accounting software
  • Great Communication Skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects
  • Good Work Ethic and the ability to work well with others
