Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse client base, handle complex financial tasks, and contribute to the growth and success of our firm.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial statements and reports for client businesses, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP.
  • Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting activities including reconciliations of bank and credit card accounts, coordination and completion of annual audits, and reviewing financial reports/support as necessary.
  • Analyze and summarize financial data to assist clients in making informed decisions.
  • Assist with tax preparation and planning, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and clients to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client information and uphold the highest ethical standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA certification or actively pursuing CPA eligibility preferred.
  • Proven experience (1-3 years) in public accounting or related field.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
