Source One is a staffing services company and we’re currently looking for the following individual to work as a permanent employee to our direct client, a specialty insurance company in Tampa, FL. This company is currently moving from a legacy environment to a 100% cloud based and automated platform. This is an exciting opportunity to help architect a new platform from a clean slate

Summary: Seeking a skilled and proactive Cloud Architect to join their newly created IT team. You will be responsible for implementing, managing and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high levels of performance, availability, and security. You will work closely with other IT professionals and departments to implement and support cloud solutions that align with organizational goals and requirements.

Responsibilities:
• Deploy, architect, manage, and monitor Azure cloud environment.
• Ensure availability, scalability, and efficiency of cloud resources.
• Implement best practices for cloud security and access management.
• Perform system upgrades, patches, and configuration changes.
• Troubleshoot issues related to cloud services and applications.
• Maintain documentation and backup procedures for cloud systems.
• Monitor cloud performance and capacity planning.
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks.
• Optimize cloud costs and resource utilization.
• Develop and implement automation scripts for cloud provisioning and maintenance tasks.
• Streamline workflows and processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Collaborate with developers and other IT staff on infrastructure projects.
• Provide technical support and guidance during cloud migrations and projects.
• Train and mentor team members on cloud technologies and best practices.

Requirements:
• 5-10 years of experience as a Cloud Architect/Engineer or similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies specifically in Azure (Google Cloud and AWS a plus).
• Expertise in the set-up and management of cloud solutions (Azure, PaaS, IaaS).
• Strong understanding of One Drive and SharePoint infrastructure technologies.
• Demonstrated experience hosting cloud-native applications.
• Strong understanding of cloud-environment networking, security, and storage principles.
• Demonstrated experience in event streaming and an understanding of Microsoft definitions (CAF WAF).
• Experience managing vendors and full cloud deployments (workloads and productivity side).
• Multicloud experience is a plus.
• A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to contribute independently as well as contribute to as a membership of the company’s leadership team.
• Self-hosted cloud experience is not required but is a plus.
