Responsibilities:

 

Sales and Business Development:

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the paving and concrete industry.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing clients.

Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

 

Client Consultation:

Meet with clients to understand their paving and concrete project requirements.

Provide expert advice on suitable materials, design options, and project timelines.

Present and explain detailed proposals to clients, addressing their needs and concerns.

 

Measurements and Estimates:

Conduct on-site assessments to accurately measure areas for paving and concrete projects.

Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, considering materials, labor, and other project-specific factors.

Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless project transitions from sales to execution.

 

Proposal and Contract Negotiation:

Prepare professional and comprehensive proposals for clients.

Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, aiming to secure profitable and mutually beneficial agreements.

Ensure that all contracts and agreements comply with company policies and legal requirements.

 

Customer Relationship Management:

Provide ongoing support and communication to clients throughout the project lifecycle.

Address client inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a timely and professional manner.

 

Qualifications:

Proven experience in sales within the paving and concrete industry.

Strong knowledge of paving materials, construction techniques, and industry best practices.

Demonstrated ability to perform accurate measurements and prepare detailed estimates.

Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.

Self-motivated with a results-oriented mindset.

 

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in sales or a related field is a plus.

Proven track record of successful sales in the paving and concrete industry.

 

Working Conditions:

This is a full-time position with a combination of office and fieldwork. The role may require travel to client sites for measurements and consultations. Hours are 8:00AM – 5:00PM, Monday – Friday. Our office is based in East Norwich, NY.
