We are an established painting contractor in Phoenix, Arizona with 20 years of experience, seeking a motivated and career-minded individual to immediately join our team. As a lead journeymen painter, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of residential projects, both interior and exterior, mainly in the North Scottsdale and Paradise Valley areas.
Requirements:
· Strong interior and exterior residential painting background, preferably with experience in stucco housing.
· Proficiency in spraying techniques is a plus.
· Minimum 5 years of professionally trained painting experience and 5 years of manager/foreman experience.
· Valid AZ driver's license with a clean DMV record.
· Ability to pass a drug and background test.
· Own a truck or van (having a ladder rack is a plus but not necessary), capable of transporting extension ladders, a pressure washer, sprayers, and other necessary tools.
Responsibilities:
· Demonstrate strong attention to detail in all painting tasks.
· Collaborate effectively with the crew to ensure efficient project completion.
· Manage project timelines and ensure adherence to safety protocols as per OSHA requirements.
· Prioritize project tasks and assign employees accordingly.
· Create detailed material lists and procure necessary materials for job commencement.
· Possess excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and address their needs professionally.
· Proficiently train crew members to ensure consistent quality work.
