Lead Journeyman Painter

At DW Crandall Painting, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Journeyman Painter to join our team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for overseeing the painting process on residential projects, ensuring high-quality results and exceptional customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Project Management: Manage project timelines, prioritize tasks, and assign employees to ensure efficient project completion.
- Quality Control: Demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure that all painting tasks meet our high standards.
- Crew Supervision: Collaborate effectively with the crew to ensure smooth project execution and provide guidance on painting techniques and best practices.
- Material Procurement: Create detailed material lists and procure necessary materials for job commencement.
- Customer Liaison: Possess excellent communication skills to liaise with customers and address their needs professionally.
- Training and Development: Proficiently train crew members to ensure consistent quality work and promote a culture of excellence within the team.
- Strong interior and exterior residential painting background, preferably with experience in stucco housing.
- Proficiency in spraying techniques is a plus.
- Minimum 5 years of professionally trained painting experience and 5 years of manager/foreman experience.
- Valid AZ driver's license with a solid DMV record.
- Willing to undergo a drug and background test.
- Own a truck or van, capable of transporting extension ladders, a pressure washer, sprayers, and other necessary tools.
