Overview: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Pipe Layer Project Superintendent to join our dynamic team. As a Project Super, you will play a crucial role in the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. You will work closely with the project manager, architects, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Oversee all aspects of pipe laying activities, including scheduling, resource allocation, and coordination with other trades.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of pipe layers, ensuring they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all pipe laying work meets project specifications and industry standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Promote and enforce a strong safety culture on site, ensuring all team members adhere to safety regulations.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs, including labor, materials, and equipment, to ensure work stays within budget.
  • Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the site team, project managers, and clients, ensuring clear and consistent communication.
  • Problem Solving: Quickly identify and resolve any issues that arise on-site to minimize delays and disruptions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of daily activities, progress reports, and any incidents that occur on-site.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of experience in pipe laying, with at least 2+ years in a supervisory role.
  • Education: Civil Engineering Degree preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of pipe laying techniques, materials, and equipment.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and lead a team on a construction site.
  • Safety Certifications: OSHA Certified
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to work in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks as needed.
