Mgr. Connectivity Ops

  • Experience engaging with all levels of both client and customers organizations to facilitate working partnerships

This position will play a key role in driving profitable sales growth and retention through a collaborative effort with sales, operations and IT. This will be achieved by positioning IT products and connectivity solutions with customers and prospects. This position directly supports new sales activity as well as client retention efforts building a partnership between sales and IT integrating with the Commercial and Employer Solutions organizations, providing a broad knowledge of clients suite of existing and future products, services and connectivity solutions. Work closely with Client Connectivity vendor management team to ensure responsiveness for National customers. This requires an individual with an extensive background in medical connectivity suite as well as excellent interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills.

 

Core accountabilities:

· Provides strategic solutions, oversight, and direction for Enterprise/Nationwide customer technology projects.

· Facilitates or escalates problem resolution when Enterprise/Nationwide accounts are at risk with connectivity issues.

· Provides detailed/precise information to customers about potential connectivity solutions.

· Engage with customers and prospects with commercial representatives to discuss/properly deploy connectivity solutions.

· Understands IT client requirements and makes appropriate technical recommendations for complex technology scenarios.

· Provides support by monitoring Enterprise/Nationwide connectivity requests.

· Operates at senior leadership level and provides strategic influence aligned with technology direction and growth objectives, provides facilitation to business partners for Top Enterprise/Nationwide connectivity projects.

· Develops and maintains effective working relations with the customer and company IT personnel in a way that demonstrates an understanding of business problems, IT strategies, issues, and priorities.

· Maintains an ongoing dialogue with customer and company IT relative to project and service issues.

· Provides an Enterprise/Nationwide escalation point of contact for key client IT issues.

· Assists with Enterprise/Nationwide prioritization of key IT technology implementations.

 

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Must be customer focused and have a background in sales or a related customer relations environment.

· Assist in the prioritization efforts of cross functional product development and delivery contributions that span across IT, Operations, Sales, 3rd party vendors and customers

· Must be able to work in Enterprise Clinical & Nationwide processes.

· Fluency and experience with interfaces including, APAL and Quanum systems.

Participate in preliminary meetings with National/Nationwide AE’s to properly scope implementation requirements

Facilitates National/Nationwide connectivity inputs to all National/Nationwide systems in a timely manner

Manage the escalation of implementation, development, and support issues to the appropriate group(s) for resolution

Provide Connectivity Support during Pre-sale activities and at risk management meetings for National customers including third party EMR interfaces.

Support for National marketing activities that emphasize our technology value propositions.

Support for launch of new products, features or initiatives to Commercial

Subject Matter Expert and provide ongoing sales education for all connectivity solutions.

Attend Regional At Risk/Growth Calls, Market Strategies (as needed)

Provide Voice of the Customer (VOC) for product features to HTS Product Development and support creation of the business case.

Needs from other teams:

· Collaboration with Connectivity team to ensure proper alignment of resources and prioritization of National/Nationwide projects.

· Collaboration with Joint Ventures to ensure connectivity implementation meets QLS standard IT Guidelines.

Qualifications.

Work Experience:

· Prior/existing Interface services experience

· Excellent verbal/written communication skills with demonstrated ability to present to all levels of leadership and clients

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment and remain organized

· Able to work across the Nation in multiple Systems

· Ability to multitask & prioritize in order to meet deadlines

· Proven track record on ability to follow through on projects & ideas

· Basic product/project management skills

· Background and/or experience in marketing and product development a plus

· Knowledge of the employer lab testing process/procedure and support systems a plus

· 6 – 8 years of experience in an IT related position
