Responsible for: The Manager of Interim Housing and Management will ensure a safe and comfortable living environment by working with housing department and clinical program staff to foster a safe and healthy community life for consumers residing in temporary housing facilities. The Manager will oversee all daily operations related to master lease, Clinics owned and outside vendor housing facilities. The Manager is also responsible for preserving open lines of communication between all parties involved in the operation of the subject property, and compliance with HUD,SCHARP, County, State and Federal regulations.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manages operations related to referral and placement process for all assigned housing and vendor facilities to ensure that consumers meet eligibility requirements and that all required documentation is completed in accordance to funding source and Agency’s policy.

• Manages and monitors that assigned housing facilities are operating and maintained in accordance with department beautification, operational, housing quality standards and Agency’s policy.

• Manages and oversees housing maintenance component in preparation for health and safety, code, and any other external inspections and ensures that all housing facilities meet the requirements of City, State and Federal inspectors and agency standards.

• Manages and oversees housing maintenance component staff to ensure timely completion of repairs at all assigned Master Lease housing facilities and works in partnership with Facilities Department as required.

• Manages daily operations and monitors that consumers residing in temporary housing facilities are in compliance with rules, rental agreements and takes appropriate action for those who are non-compliant in accordance with agency standards and California tenant rights laws.

• Maintains full bed capacity, inventory of furniture, appliance purchases, ensures quality of furniture and appliances are operable for all assigned housing facilities.

• Responsible for coordination and delivery of quality housing and clinical services for consumers residing in temporary housing facilities.

• Responsible for tracking rental payments, rental collection, submission of rental tracking reports and tenant notices related to late, non-rental payments and eviction notices.

• Oversight of supply ordering/delivery for all assigned master lease housing facilities.

• Provides technical assistance, housing orientation/trainings and monthly team meetings for new and existing staff throughout SCHARP and BAFMA in relation to all housing facilities and programs.

• Manages daily operations related to interim housing, assigned housing staff duties, productivity, caseload, work assignments, timesheets, vacation, mileage in accordance to  agency policy and procedures.
