Join Our Team as a Full-Time Maintenance Technician at Heinzerling Community

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities? Heinzerling Community is a dedicated facility providing support and care for both children and adults in Southwest Columbus. We're currently seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and ensure our facilities remain safe, functional, and welcoming environments for our residents.

Position: Maintenance Technician (Full-Time)

Pay Rate: $20.75/hour (Starting rate)

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of previous maintenance experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift/move up to 100 pounds, navigate attics, and work in various weather conditions
  • Proficiency with machinery and equipment maintenance
  • Successful completion of background check and drug screening
  • Must be at least 21 years old with a clean driving record
  • No more than one at-fault accident in the last three years.
  • Driver's license with no more than five points and valid auto insurance

Duties Include:

  • Conducting major maintenance on facility operating systems such as HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Performing preventive maintenance on equipment
  • Diagnosing and repairing facility equipment as needed
  • Participating in safety drills to ensure a secure environment
