Job Description:

Full-time Quality Assurance Engineer Level I with 1-3 years’ experience in a quality assurance testing role to support a mission-focused, rapid solutions and capabilities provider comprised of a diverse team of experts in hardware engineering, software development, systems integration, management, and testing. The Software QA Engineer Level I analyzes, troubleshoots and performs hardware and software testing for military and civil aviation platforms, identifies functional problems, documents and reports test results in a clear and concise method.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Analyze requirements and write concise test cases that evaluate product functionality
• Troubleshoot and problem solve complex test scenarios
• Execute test cases during test phases
• Record and write complete defect reports found during test execution
• Apply quality assurance principles and practices in a fast paced, agile development environment
• Clearly communicate test results and status both written and verbally
• Follow established QA procedures and processes

Recommended Skills and Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in a quality assurance test role preferred
• Other relevant work experience will be considered
• Must be a problem solver, enthusiastic and curious, self-motivated, able to work independently and on a team
• Knowledge of software installation, testing, hardware configuration preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Self-directed and detail-oriented approach to tasks and technical issues
• Proven analytical and technical aptitude
• Working knowledge of the software development and testing life cycles preferred
• Ability to work and deliver under deadlines while handling multiple detail-oriented tasks

Education Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or related disciplines.

Clearance: Will need to obtain a Secret clearance level
Status: US Citizenship; Tek Fusion Global does not sponsor Visas
