The OT Architect will play a vital role enabling our Digital Manufacturing Transformation journey. The primary mission of this role is to lead efforts to develop reference architectures, solution architectures, prototypes, test, and scale Digital Plant solutions and communication networks to enable our global manufacturing teams with new skills, technologies and toolsets to optimize and execute work in an efficient, reliable, and safe way.

Responsibilities:

• Accountable for management of OT architecture standards, procedures, and methods for intaking, prioritizing, resourcing, and servicing OT architecture demand to enable Digital Manufacturing Transformation and Manufacturing Capital Projects which involve Industrial Control Systems, Industrial IOT solutions, and OT solutions which require IT solution integrations.
• Accountable for maintaining relationships with strategic business stakeholders responsible for our manufacturing digital transformation, and industrial control system modernization.
• Create IT-OT integrated technology solutions; examples include wired and wireless communication networks, industrial control systems, industrial IOT systems, industrial data connectors and extractors to fuel our AI-enabled Digital Plant workforce.
• Leads and facilitates workshops and solution implementation with cross functional teams across our IT, business and vendor ecosystem to create integrated solution architectures and technical implementation plans to rapidly prototype, test, prove concepts and scale digital manufacturing solutions globally.
• Provides consulting, solution design, and implementation support to capital project teams responsible for upgrading or implementing new industrial control systems and industrial IOT solutions. Participate in FAT, SAT, and commissioning events to enable implementations and system integration with digital manufacturing and cyber security solutions.
• Work with leaders and peers to sustain and improve manufacturing technology standards, and cyber security compliance to enable manufacturing digital transformation.

• Degree (bachelor or masters) in engineering, computer science, OR equivalent combination of competencies and experience specific to industrial automation and industrial information projects.
• 10 years’ hands on experience design, implementation, and commissioning of industrial control systems; Chemicals manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Pharmaceuticals or Energy industries.
• 5 years hands on experience with development of solution architectures, reference architectures, service architectures, knowledge of enterprise frameworks such as RAMI, NAMUR NOA, PURDUE, SABSA,TOGAF, ITIL
• Knowledge of IT-OT systems integration with hands on experience with specifying, selecting and implementing industrial data connector or extractor solutions with knowledge of variety of industrial network protocols; OPC, OPC-UA, MQTT, REST, MODBUS TCP, MODBUS, HART,PROFINET, PROFIBUS
• Knowledge of ISA \ IEC 62443 with hands on experience with specifying, selecting and implementing industrial networks, firewalls, backup and recovery, portable media protection, and anti-virus solutions for industrial control systems, and industrial IOT solutions.
• Knowledge of a variety of industrial control system vendor solutions, including virtualization systems, networks, wireless, industrial IOT, and security solutions.
• Knowledge of a variety of process historian solutions, Aveva PI, Aspen Tech IP21, Cognite Data Fusion
