Entry Level Staff Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES
§ Month-end financial close support including journal entry preparation and account reconciliation for fixed assets, inventory, accounts payable and accruals
§ Prepare balance sheet and income statement
§ Participate in annual budget process and provide ongoing budget to actual analysis
§ Review daily sales/transaction reports and reconcile related cash activity
§ Maintain Fixed Asset System and provide reports for financial statements, budgeting, and tax return preparation
§ Provide assistance with Accounts Payable vouching and matching of invoices, as needed
§ Provide support during year-end financial statement audits
§ Provide ad hoc support to other finance department personnel
REQUIREMENTS
§ Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Accounting
§ 0-2 years of accounting related experience
§ Ability to work on multiple projects with minimal supervision
§ Organized and detail oriented
§ Strong work ethic
§ Strong interpersonal / communication skills
§ Computer literacy with proficient use of Microsoft Excel is essential
