Job Summary 

Lee Property Services, LLC (LPS) is searching for an energetic, motivated individual to join the LPS Team as our full-time Facilities Technician. The successful candidate will analyze and address common maintenance needs across multiple properties, perform repairs and installations as needed and arrange subcontractors as required for property maintenance, repairs and projects. Qualified candidate must be able to address common property issues, such as minor electrical, plumbing, heating, grounds care, etc. The ideal candidate has several years of professional experience in the property management and maintenance fields and the ability to build positive rapport with vendors, property tenants, and property owners.

Required Functions

  • Perform routine and scheduled maintenance across multiple properties
  • Perform repairs, installations of fixtures and appliances, and replacement of damaged systems
  • Diagnose and address problems with building HVAC, electricity, water systems, etc.
  • Monitor adherence to building codes and fire regulations
  • Work with vendors and subcontractors for competitive proposals on projects
  • Maintain records on all maintenance aspects of managed properties and update in property management database software
  • Be on-call to respond to emergency issues
  • Serve as primary contact for facility related emergencies, which may require evening and weekend work hours

Other Responsibilities

  • Ability to work and interact with others in a cooperative, pleasant, and constructive manner
  • Develop and maintain a good relationship with all contractors and vendors
  • Promote a positive team attitude, a willingness to learn new skills, work as a team player, and demonstrate dependability, reliability, and accessibility
  • Available to work occasional evenings and weekends as needed
  • Perform other duties as may be assigned by supervisor

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma required
  • Valid South Carolina Driver’s License and clean driving record
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Attention to detail and project coordination
  • Able to safely lift 50 pounds
