Reporting to the department supervisor, the Housekeeping Technician will uphold all facilities with diligence and meticulous attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute a range of cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing.
- Ensure all areas are maintained and evaluated according to established standards.
- Safeguard equipment and confirm there are no deficiencies.
- Inform the supervisor of any damages, shortages, or disturbances.
- Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and be knowledgeable of company practices.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
- A minimum of 6 months of relevant experience in housekeeping is required.
- The position necessitates the ability to lift over 50 lbs. without assistance.
- Most tasks will be performed while standing, walking, lifting, pulling, and pushing.
- Effective communication skills using speech, vision, and hearing are essential.
- Ability to use hands for simple grasping and fine manipulations is required.
- Physical capabilities include bending, squatting, reaching, pushing, and climbing.
- Must be able to stand for extended periods.
- Some exposure to hazardous chemicals and active ingredients may occur.
- Proficiency in using various housekeeping tools and machinery is necessary.
