About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at NHC HealthCare Mauldin. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including heavy-duty cleaning, light grounds care, and maintenance of institutional equipment.
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and coordinate with other departments to ensure minimal disruption to patient care and normal business functions.
  • Be available on call for emergencies and perform or direct duties concerned with maintenance of grounds, parking lots, driveways, etc.
  • May include gardening, landscaping, cleaning-up, snow removal, etc. (except that performed under service contract).
Requirements
  • Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience required.
  • High school graduate or graduate of a technical school.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, knowledge of local codes and ordinances, and knowledge of safety regulations.
