POSITION OVERVIEW
This Position is about the takeoff of projects and submitting estimates for bids.
Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software
Solicitation and review of vendor and subcontractor quotations

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
• Excellent human relations skills and ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Demonstrated conceptual estimates with sound pricing knowledge.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires knowledge of electrical construction at a level normally acquired through the completion of an electrical training program.
• Two years technical or business degree or equivalent combinations of education and estimating experience.
• Five years’ experience as an electrical estimator preferable.
• Electrical construction experience or construction management experience
• Demonstrated conceptual estimates and knowledge of pricing.
• Background check, credit check, MVR and drug screen may be required.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Quantity takeoff.
• Quantity takeoff entry into estimating software using McCormick
• Solicitation and review vendor and subcontractor RFQ's and prepare using Conest or IntelliBid software tor quotations.
• Review current material pricing levels.
• Review and estimate addenda as required.
• Review bid/construction schedule.
• Initial review of contract if included in bid documents.
• Follow post bid closeout procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
• $85K TO$110K Annual
• Benefits include Medical/Dental/Vision/401K/Life
