Job Title: Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P

Join Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation as a Senior Airworthiness Inspector Sr A&P and take on a challenging role in ensuring the airworthiness of aircraft and components. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for conducting inspections, reviewing documentation, and mentoring technicians to maintain the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of aircraft, engine, and component repairs and alterations to ensure conformity to FAA-approved data.
  • Coordinate mechanical, electrical, and inspection requirements on the aircraft during maintenance or outfitting.
  • Keep accurate, neat, and legible records of work performed on aircraft/components.
  • Coordinate throughout assigned jobs with RTS to ensure accurate aircraft records are produced in a timely manner.
  • Conduct audits of maintenance documentation for accuracy and completion on all aircraft prior to approval for return to service.
  • Ensure aircraft/components are airworthy prior to any flight activities.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 6 years aircraft/component inspection experience, including 3 years on large or mid-size aircraft.
  • Airframe and Powerplant License required.
  • Proficient in Federal Aviation Regulations, FAA forms, and documents.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Word and typing speed of 20 WPM.
