Job description:

· Perform various Month/Quarter/Annual End Close processes, including but not limited to: Journal entry and review - P&L review and analysis - Balance sheet reconciliation, analysis, and review - Validating data and reports from various systems;

· Pre-preparation and review of income tax returns for businesses and individuals;

· Prepare tax forecasts and the quarterly and annual tax provision calculations and journal entries, as well as preparing comprehensive responses to tax notices from various taxing jurisdictions;

· Prepare workpapers for monthly, quarterly and annually transaction tax filings including 1099’s;

· Maintain accurate records of fixed assets, including depreciation schedules;

· Ensure compliance with audit requirements and address any audit-related inquiries;

· Proficiency in accounting software (SAGE BusinessWorks) as well as, MS Excel/Word/Outlook;

· Ensure proper accounting policies and principles are followed in accordance with GAAP;

· Develop/Implement/Maintain automated system(s) and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness;

· Excellent organizational, problem-solving, written/verbal communication and analytical skills;

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.

  • Great work schedule: Monday - Friday; 8AM-4PM
