Job Description:

Legacy Property Management is seeking a skilled and dedicated Apartment Turnover Maintenance Technician to join our team in Portland, Oregon. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our apartment units are in excellent condition and ready for new tenants. This role is crucial in maintaining the high standards of our properties and providing exceptional service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine and preventive maintenance tasks on apartment units, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repairs.

- Conduct inspections of vacated units, identifying necessary repairs and maintenance.

- Execute timely and efficient turnovers of vacant apartments, ensuring they meet quality standards.

- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.

- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and property management staff.

- Collaborate with property management to ensure a smooth transition for new tenants.

- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies.


Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Proven experience in apartment maintenance or a related field.

- Strong knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and appliance repair.

- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
