Job DescriptionJob Description

YAI has an immediate opening for a Per Diem Direct to work in one of our programs, the Glebe IRA, in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have enthusiasm for working with people with intellectual and developmental disabilities and a willingness to help with ADL's (assisting with showering, toileting, grooming, etc) as necessary.

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED; some college is a plus

Valid Driver's License, NYS preferred

Work or life experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities preferred.

Ability to participate in 3-5 days of paid NYS mandated OPWDD initial trainings during normal business hours, upon hire.

Tuberculosis test mandatory for most positions (provided FREE of charge by our Premier HealthCare clinic)
