**Job Description:**

 

**Position Overview:**

As the Executive Chef, you will lead our culinary team in the preparation and execution of our established menus. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring consistency and quality in all dishes, mentoring and training kitchen staff, and maintaining high standards of food safety and kitchen efficiency. You will play a crucial role in preserving the integrity of our signature recipes while fostering a collaborative and educational kitchen environment.

 

**Key Responsibilities:**

 

- Oversee daily kitchen operations to ensure the consistent preparation and presentation of all menu items.

- Maintain the integrity of our existing recipes, ensuring all dishes are prepared according to established standards and specifications.

- Provide hands-on training and mentorship to kitchen staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and efficiency of the culinary team.

- Manage inventory, ordering, and cost control to maximize efficiency and minimize waste.

- Ensure compliance with all food safety and sanitation regulations.

- Collaborate with event planners to ensure seamless execution of catered events, maintaining our reputation for excellence.

- Lead by example in maintaining a clean, organized, and professional kitchen environment.

 

**Qualifications:**

 

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar leadership role within a high-volume catering environment.

- Exceptional culinary skills with a strong emphasis on consistency and quality.

- Passion for teaching and mentoring kitchen staff, with a track record of developing successful training programs.

- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by catering events.
