Job Summary
We are looking for Direct Support Staff to join our team You will directly work with Individuals, following a one-on-one care plan in the individuals homes and in the community. You operate with a big heart, not only providing personalized and attentive care but by building genuine relationships with those you serve. You are detail-oriented, highly organized, and committed to creating a healthy environment that meets the individuals needs. Strong verbal and written communication skills are needed to succeed in this role. Some experience working with developmentally disabled individuals is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Assist individuals with daily activities to ensure the health , safety, well being, and community interaction
  • Care for individuals by assisting with personal care and other needs that are necessary
  • Maintain records of individuals care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with the supervisor
  • Build relationships with individuals by engaging with them to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
  • Engage individuals in exercises or other activities
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)
  • Reliable Transportation (Required)
  • CPR/FIRST AID Certification (Required)
  • MED TECH (Preferred) or you must obtain within the first 90 days of employment
