We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Dynamic Positioning Operator (DPO) to join our offshore drilling team. The Senior DPO will be responsible for operating the dynamic positioning (DP) system to ensure the vessel maintains its required position and heading during drilling operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in DP operations, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.

Senior DPO Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor the dynamic positioning system to maintain the vessel's position and heading as required by drilling and operational activities.
  • Ensure all DP operations are conducted in compliance with company safety policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee the maintenance and troubleshooting of DP equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior DPOs and bridge personnel on DP operations and emergency procedures.
  • Act as the primary DP operator during emergency situations, coordinating with the OIM and other key personnel to ensure the safety of the vessel and crew.
  • Maintain accurate logs and records of DP operations, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
  • Liaise with the drilling team, marine crew, and other departments to ensure seamless coordination of operations.
