The Senior Dynamic Positioning Officer is responsible for overseeing and managing the dynamic positioning (DP) systems aboard offshore vessels or rigs. 
 
Senior DPO Responsibilities

• Operate and manage dynamic positioning systems to maintain vessel position and heading during offshore operations.
• Oversee the setup, calibration, and maintenance of DP equipment and systems, ensuring they function correctly and efficiently.
• Monitor and assess DP system performance, identifying and addressing any issues or anomalies in real-time.
• Coordinate with the bridge team, engineering department, and offshore operations personnel to ensure seamless DP operations.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies related to dynamic positioning.
• Develop and implement procedures and protocols for DP operations, including emergency response and contingency plans.
• Conduct regular training and drills for crew members on DP system operation and emergency procedures.

Senior DPO Position Requirements

• Previous Offshore Experience
• Driver’s License or Passport
• MMC
• USCG Medical
• DP Certificate

Senior DPO Preferred Requirements

• T-HUET / FOET / BOSIET
• Rig Pass / Safe Gulf
