The basic function of HR and Finance is to collect and organize the AR, AP, Data integration and complete weekly pay roll. The core responsibilities of the position are outlined below.

· Accounts receivable - accounts payable.

· Cut checks to building dept/vendors as necessary.

· Pay subcontractors and vendors in a timely manner.

· Pay monthly expenses on time.

· Invoicing and billing.

· Communicate with accountant as required.

· Check daily emails and correspond as needed.

· Report Payroll.

· Ability to prioritize and keep track of assignments and projects.

· Organizes all benefit options for employees.

· Order office supplies as needed.

· Support other office staff with projects as needed.

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Builder Trend and QuickBooks programs.

o Ensure accurate interface and data transfer between QuickBooks and Builder Trend.

o Process payments and track past due accounts

o Maintain a system to account for financial transactions by following a chart of accounts.

o Maintain accounts by verifying, allocating, and posting transactions.

o Balance accounts by reconciling entries.

o Maintain general ledger.

o Maintain historical records.

o Verify correct bank account information.

o Follow up on banking transactions.

o Create, organize and update financial reports using spreadsheet.

o Follow up on collections as needed.

o Communicate with Owner, office staff, employees, and all other managers.

o Communicate with customers.

o Employee record maintenance.

· Add Owner invoices to job folders once opened.

· Close out job folders once paid in full.

· Responsible for fleet maintenance

· Responsible for maintaining approved driver list.

· Gas card monitoring and processing.

· Drug testing of new employees

· Employee disciplinary action

· Employee personal or professional confidential discussions

· Maintained safety meeting tracking and providing monthly topics for discussion.

· Employee assessment/growth tracking

· New manager scorecard maintaining

· Employee vehicle accident reporting

· Advertising open positions, schedule candidates, interview

· Maintain vendor contracts.

· Maintain equipment warranty information.

· Employee health insurance tracking

· Employee too, purchase and co reimbursement

· Pool company commission tracking

· Corrections center payroll and weekly employee scheduling

· New employee on boarding

· Employee relations

· 401k reporting

· Workers comp monthly reporting
