Printing Press Operator

The Printing Press Operator directs the crew and performs manual and machine operator tasks related to the set-up, maintenance and operations of the press. Responsible for the quantitative and qualitative press performance. All employees are expected to work together as a team to achieve departmental goals and work together on technological improvements that will better the department, the company, and our clientele. All employees are also required to work overtime when necessary.
In this role, the Press Operator will work with a press assistant to set up, operate, and maintain press machines to produce high-quality materials in accordance with production schedules and customer requirements. You will be responsible for the daily replenishment of resources, such as ink, blankets and cylinders. preventative maintenance and troubleshooting of the machine or ink levels. In addition, the Press Operator will examine jobs for issues and take appropriate steps to ensure a quality product.
The Press Operator position is key to our commercial print production environment. We are looking for a knowledgeable pressman, familiar with 6 or 8 color presses.
Salary to commensurate with experience.
