PAY RANGE:

$22.50 (includes shift differential)

HOURS:

JOB DESCRIPTION:

We are seeking a Printing Press Technician to fill an immediate opening. The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and abilities with a commitment to continuous learning to advance to a Rotogravure Printer:

  • Exhibits a positive attitude towards work and arrives punctually for the start of the shift
  • Adheres to instructions and demonstrates meticulous attention to detail
  • Communicates effectively with team members
  • Capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment alongside a Rotogravure Printer
  • Able to lift 40 pounds or more
  • Mechanical aptitude to learn the operation of a Rotogravure Printing Press
  • Completion of vocational training in machine operation is preferred
  • Prior work experience in a similar field is advantageous
  • Ability to distinguish colors
  • Willingness to work on Rotogravure Printing Presses that are two stories high
  • Interest in the printing industry

A qualified Printing Press Technician will be able to perform the following tasks, including but not limited to:

  • Prepare and maintain the Rotogravure printing press for production
  • Assist the Rotogravure Printer with press operations
  • Manage job materials inventory and maintain a clean workspace
  • Learn and understand color development techniques
