Job description

Proman Skilled Trades is looking for Custom Millwork Fabricator in the Apopka, FL are. You will be responsible for day to day production activities within the Scenic Carpentry Shop through fabrication, safety, and quality control. Will receive production duties and direction from the shop manage.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for making sure all carpentry and installation work is completed safely, efficiently, in a timely manner, and confirmed the quality of the final product meets company standards.
  • First Article/Prototype Fabrication
  • Machinery/Equipment Maintenance and Repair
  • Task Delegation/Management
  • Production Layout for Workflow Efficiency
  • Installation of Specialty Hardware
  • Leadership Skills
  • Field Measurement and Site Condition Knowledge

Qualifications:

  • At least 3+ years of millwork, installation (cabinets, doors/windows, molding, flooring), finished carpentry, remodeling/renovations experience
  • At least 3+ years of commercial carpeting experience, including rough and finished carpentry and cabinet making
  • Familiar with laminate, wood and plastics to finish high and medium end custom cabinets
  • Understanding/Following Drawings
  • Reading/Understanding/Following Work Order
  • Material Take-offs/Cut List
  • Book/Grain Matching
  • Understand/Produce Jigs for Different Applications
  • Task Breakout on Work Order
  • Miter Folding
  • Corian Fabrication (preferred)
  • Equipment/Machinery Setup/Safe Operations/Clean
  • Machinery/Equipment Setup (edge bander, panel saw, OMAL, hand tools)
  • Must be proficient in English
