  • Facilitate the movement of pipes along the worktable and offload them onto carts or crates for staging.
  • Operate grooving machines for processing pipe ends.
  • Use threading machines to apply threads to pipes as required.
  • Employ fitting machines to attach fittings to pipes as needed.
  • Cut threaded rods to precise lengths using a band saw.
  • Install hanger devices on threaded rods to designated lengths.
  • Utilize bench grinders to prepare threaded rod ends for hanger device applications.
  • Transport pipe carts to the loading area as necessary.
  • Employ pneumatic staple guns for securing cardboard boxes to pallets.
  • Operate forklifts when required to retrieve materials and move pipes.
  • Prepare pipe bundles for shipment using pneumatic banders as needed.
  • Complete training programs, including safety protocols, demonstrating an acceptable level of competence as defined by management.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional tasks as required to meet the needs of the company and its customers as directed by supervisory personnel.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a production multitasking environment under time constraints.
  • Previous welding experience is advantageous with the potential to obtain certification.
  • Basic arithmetic skills are necessary, including the ability to read a tape measure in fractional increments.
