Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Printing Equipment Operator / Shift Lead to join our team as one of the first hires in our Charlotte fulfillment center. In this role, you will be at the forefront of our printing operations, ensuring the highest quality in labels and packaging while utilizing eco-friendly equipment. This is a unique opportunity to lead, innovate, and help establish best practices in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Printing Operations:
● Set up, operate, and maintain advanced printing equipment to ensure optimal performance and top-quality output.
● Oversee the entire printing and labeling phases, making precise adjustments as needed for superior results.
● Analyze print orders, determine appropriate settings, and troubleshoot any issues with print files in collaboration with support staff.
● Perform routine maintenance to keep all equipment in peak condition.
● Implement efficient workflows, standardize processes, and proactively resolve any operational challenges.
● Stay current on industry trends and introduce new technologies or methods to enhance our operations.
Inventory and Logistics:
● Accurately manage the receipt and issuance of goods, ensuring all documentation is correctly processed.
● Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and place orders to prevent disruptions in operations.
● Participate in regular warehouse inventory audits.
● Assist with unloading, loading, and proper placement of products within the facility.
Team Leadership:
● Train and mentor new employees, providing ongoing coaching to ensure high performance and adherence to company standards.
● Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth daily operations and meet production goals.
● Oversee the shift's start and end procedures, ensuring all tasks are completed accurately and efficiently.
● Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, high morale, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
