Our STRIVE centers are not like any other. Our motto is for children to be in a happy, relaxed and engaged environment to optimize learning. When you enter our center, it embodies everything you would have wanted as a kid coupled with ABA professionals implementing therapeutic services. Our Roselle Park Center comprises of 10+ playrooms, including art therapy, music therapy, sensory room, with an outside patio for outdoor therapy in warmer seasons, plus much more We implement group and individual therapy out of our center. We’ve created an environment where our clients and staff love to be, resulting in better outcomes.

FCS is also a New Jersey Department of Education and Clinic and Agency, approved provider for district and clinic services. We provide services to public, private, and charter schools, including ABA, consultation and mental health support. Our staff take a collaborative approach by regularly partnering with the child study team members, teachers, guidance counselors, and administration to progress towards the best possible outcome for the school community. We are a passionate and dynamic group; unique for our eclectic, fun and collaborative spirit while still adhering to a high-quality, evidence-based practice.

BCBA Day to Day primary functions:

  • Coordinate with all instructional treatment team
  • Provide consultation within the schools in conjunction with administrators, child study team members, teachers and other school personnel
  • Participate in family meetings and conduct parent trainings
  • Provide interactive therapeutic solutions to extinguish or minimize maladaptive behaviors
  • Conduct behavior analysis to develop a functional, individualized behavioral program
  • Provide direct training and supervision to clinical support team
  • Manage client data

What we require from you:

  • Master's degree in psychology, special education, or related field
  • Active BCBA Certification
  • Strong interpersonal and documentation skills
  • 2+ years of experience working with children on the Autism spectrum
  • Conduct functional Behavioral Assessments
  • Create programs and Behavior Intervention plans.
  • Complete skill assessments: ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP and AFLS
  • Provide parent training.
  • Practical support and leadership skills
