Sales Design Consultant

Base salary (based on experience) + commission + initial sales bonus. Earn up to $80,000 in your first year.

Bumble Bee Blinds of Northern Colorado is one of the fastest growing Window covering business (blinds, shades, draperies, shutters & outdoor shades) in the country servicing Fort Collins, Greeley, Windsor, Loveland, and beyond (a big territory, booming with opportunity). After less than 6 months in business we are looking to add another member to our high energy team

As a sales design consultant at Bumble Bee Blinds, you’ll spend your days making the homes and workspaces of our clients more beautiful, functional and comfortable with custom window coverings. Everyone in the company is committed to your success. Benefits:

· Base Salary $15,000(based on experience) + commission. Earn up to $80,000 in the first year

· $3,000 initial sales bonus based on preset gross sales metrics

Responsibilities:

· Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, interior designers, realtors and builders.

· Schedule and perform in-home consultations on various window covering options and functionality, to provide estimates.

· Successfully close appointments by matching our diverse products to clients’ needs and by building trust and credibility.

· Measure, record, and configure specifications accurately and efficiently.

· Drive sales revenue and back the company on standards, quality, and professionalism.

· Provide excellent customer service while being detail-oriented, organized, creative, ambitious, and very personable.

· Utilizes customer information, materials, and support to ensure efficient execution of assigned tasks in a timely manner.

· Responsible for maintaining, updating, and communicating client data, project status, and job details in the CRM.

· Maintain constant communication between all departments, as well as customers, on current work orders.

· Participate in regular sales meetings, webinars, and trainings.

· Arrive on time to work and any/all appointments and meetings.

Required Qualifications:

· Experience in customer service, retail, or sales (comfortable with in home sales)

· Previous design or window covering experience preferred

· Must be able to resolve problems, handle conflict and make effective decisions under pressure

  • Detail oriented, organized and able to excel in a fast-paced environment
  • High energy, team player, positive attitude and forward thinking
  • Quick learner who is adaptable, self-reliant, resourceful and handles competing priorities
  • Expresses thoughts, ideas, concerns in a positive, respectful and productive manner
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week
  • Must demonstrate willingness to be flexible and adapt to change
  • Working knowledge of computer software including MS outlook, word, CRM and POS systems
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of insurance
