 Position Overview:

Develop new deposit and loan business; provide a superior customer experience and promotes a sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation. Achieve individual and banking center sales goals through new business development, referrals and retention and expansion of account relationships.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Lead daily branch operations and supervision of staff to ensure key objectives are met.
  • Ensure the branch is appropriately staffed and scheduled every day to meet customer service expectations as well as sales and operational objectives.
  • Partner with SVP - director of retail banking to established sales, service, operations and financial goals.  
  • Create an action plan to achieve branch goals.
  • Initiate new business opportunities for the bank through the development of new prospects and networking events.
  • Provide timely coaching on performance issues, regulatory and compliance issues, and ensuring adherence to all company policies and procedures.
  • Recruit, hire, train and coach universal bankers
  • Manage new hire onboarding, ensuring all universal bankers are engaged and are being developed.
  • Actively participate in community organizations and activities
  • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations
  • Successfully complete training as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum 3 years retail banking experience
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask and have excellent time management skills

Education:

 High school diploma or equivalent

  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
