Position Details:
SRMS Ops Support - Quality (Swing)- Santa Rosa, CA
Location                               : Santa Rosa, CA 95403
Project Duration              : 2+ years Contract
Pay rate                                : $29/hr on W2
 
Job Description:
The Quality Operations Support candidate will support *** manufactured test equipment. Specific duties include: mechanical measurement of precision milled and turned sub-miniature high frequency electronic parts to ensure functionality and accuracy. The candidate will be responsible for for performing inspection of sub-assemblies or final assemblies or *** products. Interprets prints, manufacturing drawings, and/or diagrams in approving or rejecting in-process or final assemblies. Maintains records and/ or databases. Working within the designated area of expertise, the candidate will clarify, analyze, develop, and implement actions and solutions while supporting *** technicians and NPI Engineers.
 
Requirements:

  • Prior experience is strongly preferred. Applicant should have at least 4 years of related experience.
  • This position requires some education, and/or specialized training/certification
  • Must have strong Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) background, and be able to read blueprints. Should have basic understanding of mechanical metrology hand tool usage.
  • GD&T experience is a MUST. The manager indicated that this is not something that is "trainable".
  • Experience using automated software platforms is a plus. Strong PC (MS Windows/Office) skills are a must.
  • Experience with Coordinate Measuring Machine and Optical Surface Profilers preferred.
  • Requires excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates electronic and mechanical competence.
  • Works with clearly defined objectives
  • Solves technical problems of limited scope and complexity.
  • Exhibits the ability to build and maintain professional relationships with wide range of people.
  • Adheres to the highest standards of business ethics.
  • Provides consistent, solid contribution to team delivery goals.
  • Exercises good discretion in the use of time and other *** resources.
  • Maintains high workmanship standards and delivers on commitments.
  • Adheres to established processes and is responsible for achieving established team goals.
