Your capabilities:

  • Develop, implement, and manage comprehensive HSE programs that comply with OSHA, MSHA.
  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for industrial construction projects.
  • Oversee incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to prevent future occurrences.
  • Lead the development, delivery, and implementation of effective safety training programs for all personnel.
  • Mentor and coach team members on safe work practices, fostering a culture of safety and risk awareness.
  • Champion a positive safety culture, promoting employee engagement and participation in safety initiatives.
  • Write, lead, and implement HSE policies and procedures, ensuring clarity and effective communication.
  • Conduct regular HSE audits and inspections, identifying and addressing potential hazards proactively.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders.

Job Requirements:

  • 8+ years experience in industrial construction as a safety manager or higher level position.
  • INDUSTRIAL CONSTRUCTION experience is required.
  • Great attitude, leadership and cultural behavior.
  • Strong communication and relationship building skills.
  • Ability to lead our safety department to cover over 500 employees with 6-10 direct reports.
  • Must be local to Salt Lake City, UT or be willing to relocate.
