Quality Services Moving, a leading relocation company in Northern Virginia, is seeking a highly motivated and creative Junior Marketing and PR Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in developing and executing strategic marketing and PR initiatives that build brand awareness, generate leads, and drive growth.

The ideal Junior Marketing and PR Specialist will be a highly creative and results-oriented individual with a passion for crafting engaging content and building a strong brand reputation. You'll possess the ability to develop and execute strategic marketing and PR initiatives, leveraging both electronic and written communication channels. You'll be comfortable working independently but also understand the importance of collaborating with other departments to ensure consistent messaging reaches your target audience. A keen eye for detail and a data-driven approach to measuring success will be essential in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

·       Manage and execute social media campaigns across platforms like Facebook and Instagram, utilizing Meta Business Suite to schedule and track performance.

·       Develop engaging email marketing campaigns through Mailchimp, including crafting compelling copy, A/B testing different strategies, and implementing marketing automations.

·       Maintain and update our Google Business Profile, ensuring accurate information and actively responding to customer reviews.

·       Create high-quality copy for various marketing materials, including flyers, handouts, and website content.

·       Utilize graphic design skills to develop visually appealing marketing assets.

·      (Photography and videography skills are a plus)

·       Track key marketing and PR data sets and provide insightful analysis for weekly reports.

·       Stay up to date on industry trends and competitor activity to inform marketing and PR strategies.

·       Draft press releases and media pitches to secure positive media coverage for Quality Services Moving.

·       Monitor news and social media for brand mentions and proactively address any potential issues.

 

Qualifications:

·       Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, or a related field OR 4+ years of experience in a marketing or communications role

·       Proven experience managing social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and utilizing Meta Business Suite

·       Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp

·       Strong written and verbal communication skills

·       Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment

·       Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

·       A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating high-quality content

·       Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred)
