About Bridging Differences ABA:
BDABA is a local, BCBA established, woman owned and operated ABA company located in El Dorado Hills, CA. Our focus is to provide quality services to our clients while offering a positive work environment for our employees.
We provide empirically based therapeutic services to children and adolescents diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD); who present communication, social, emotional, developmental, and functional needs. We aim to support the child’s family in meeting these needs and help bridge individual neurodevelopmental differences to create positive outcomes.
About the Position: Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Bridging Differences ABA is looking for a reliable, professional, fun, and energetic individual who shares our passion of serving and helping families to fill our need for a Behavior Analyst.
Our BCBAs are afforded much flexibility and independence, while offering ongoing support and training. This position has the option to be rendered in person or via telehealth.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Uses appropriate assessment instruments and data to develop and implement teaching programs that are individualized for BDABA clients.
- Ensures the creation, implementation and maintenance of treatment plans and behavior intervention plans, using professional knowledge, judgment, and tools to strategize continuous improvements.
- Provides training and supervision of RBT and other clinical staff through observations, meetings, performance coaching, and other methods.
- Establishes and maintains data measurement, collection, and analysis systems for clients receiving ABA interventions.
- Maintains appropriate documentation and prepare and complete reports on time as required.
- Ensures that all treatment plans comply with contract requirements, satisfy all relevant insurance certification and other expectations, and meet or exceed professional standards.
- Maintains highly organized, consistent, thorough, and systematic recordkeeping practices.
- Seeks creative options for ensuring the continuity and consistency of treatment and support services across settings for the lifespan of the client. Develop strategies for the stability of quality services when clients experience transitions.
- Provides staff development, training, and modeling for team members in strategies and methodologies for working with children on the autism spectrum and/or clients who have behavior, adaptive, and/or social/communication challenges.
- Conducts in-service training, workshops, and presentations to develop skills and establish consistent practices within Bridging Differences ABA.
- Provides consultation regarding crisis interventions and critical incident supports.
- Participates in Individual Education Program (IEP) team meetings for clients as appropriate.
- Promotes positive public relations, facilitates interagency collaboration, and advocates for the establishment and maintenance of comprehensive services.
- Participates in professional growth activities such as conferences, classes, team meetings and program visitations.
- Trains caregivers as indicated in the authorized treatment plan and outlined under BDABA's Parent Provider agreement.
- Accept all other responsibilities as assigned.
Availability ranging from 8am to 7pm is required (4-8 hours to be worked within that time frame) and travel is required . We offer ongoing supervision & training, and constant upskilling. Position Requirements:
- Current certification by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board.
- A Master's degree in special education, psychology, or related field, with specialized knowledge of behavioral health and treatment philosophies and professional practices.
- A minimum of three years of recent experience working with individuals with autism spectrum disorder and their families
- Knowledge of early childhood and autism assessment tools and procedures, and thorough knowledge of child development.
- Experience developing positive behavior support plans and programs
- Experience teaching social interaction and play skills
- Knowledge of current methods and techniques of applied behavior analysis and it’s teaching methods
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with clients, parents, co-workers and professionals.
- Competence in analyzing assessment results, designing appropriate individual treatment plans and behavior intervention plans, and monitoring progress
- Must be able to work effectively as a team member, demonstrate flexibility and desire to learn new skills and improve professional qualifications, and travel independently in rural/remote locations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bilingualism
- CPR/First Aid
- CPI Certification
Pay Scale:
- Hourly: $45 - $65 per hour DOE
Work Location:
This is a HYBRID position, offering remote and in-person services. It is preferred in-person is offered between 25 and 50% of the time. We currently provide ABA services to families in El Dorado, Sacramento, and Placer counties. We are currently seeking candidates in Greater Sacramento and surrounding areas.
Availability:
- PART- or FULL-TIME
- Monday through Friday
- 8am - 7pm (range; not more than 8 hours per day)
- Weekend hours available as needed
