Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team at Jabbergym. As a BCBA, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, designing and implementing behavior intervention plans, and monitoring progress for clients with developmental disabilities.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field and be certified by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). You will have a strong knowledge of the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA) and excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct assessments using various assessment tools and techniques to accurately evaluate clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans
  • Design and implement behavior intervention plans based on the principles of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Collaborate with clients' families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure effective implementation of behavior intervention plans
  • Conduct ongoing data collection and analysis to assess clients' progress and make necessary adjustments to behavior intervention plans
  • Provide training and support to clients' families, caregivers, and other professionals in implementing behavior intervention plans
  • Stay current with the latest research and best practices in applied behavior analysis and behavior intervention techniques
  • Maintain complete and accurate documentation of assessments, behavior intervention plans, progress notes, and other relevant information
  • Participate in team meetings, case conferences, and other professional development activities as required
Requirements:
  • BCBA certification from the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • Master's degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
  • Proven experience in conducting assessments and implementing behavior intervention plans for individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong knowledge of the principles and techniques of applied behavior analysis (ABA)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, families, caregivers, and other professionals
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Proficient computer skills and experience using electronic data collection systems
  • Commitment to maintaining client confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines as outlined by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
  • Occasional exposure to dust, pollen, and fumes
  • Requires frequent reaching, handling, sitting, standing, walking, hearing, talking, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, running, carrying, and lifting 50 or more lbs.
  • Must be able to see and hear within normal range with or without correction.
  • The noise intensity level is moderate to high
