Express Employment of North Colorado Springs is seeking a Powder Coat Technician. This role requires a high level of technical skill and expertise in various areas. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a range of tasks related to fabrication, painting, welding, and materials handling. They must have a strong mechanical aptitude and be able to work independently or as part of a team. Attention to detail, safety consciousness, and the ability to follow instructions accurately are essential for this position. Responsibilities:
- Use power tools and hand tools to fabricate and assemble products
- Perform airless paint spraying to apply coatings to products
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed
- Handle materials safely and efficiently, following proper procedures for storage and transportation
- Conduct auto painting tasks, ensuring a high-quality finish
- Weld components together using various welding techniques
- Operate cranes and other lifting equipment to move heavy materials
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to lean manufacturing principles

Qualifications:
- Proficiency in working with power tools, hand tools, and other equipment relevant to the position
- Experience with airless paint spraying techniques and auto painting
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment
- Familiarity with materials handling procedures and safety protocols
- Welding skills using various techniques such as MIG, TIG, or stick welding
- Ability to operate cranes or other lifting equipment safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles is a plus
