Phosphate Cleaner/ Powder Coater

As a Phosphate Cleaner/Powder Coater (also known as Metal Preparer, Powder Coating Technician), you will be responsible for cleaning, prepping, and racking parts for powder coating on a variety of metal products. You'll also be in charge of washing parts using a steam cleaning system, moving coated racks of material into curing ovens, and maintaining adequate powder color inventory levels. This role also includes the potential to back up in mixing and applying powders per manufacturer specifications.

• Competitive hourly wage ranging from $17-$19 based on skills and experience level.
• Opportunity to work on the second shift, running from 2:15PM to 10:45PM.
• Dynamic work environment in the production coating area with exposure to various conditions.

• High school diploma required. College courses in painting disciplines are a plus.
• Experience in powder coating is preferred but not required.
• Ability to pass annual pulmonary testing and comfortable wearing respirators, hoods, or full suits for extended periods of time in various conditions.
