Basic Qualifications

  • Proven experience supporting Clarity PPM upgrade/implementation 16.0+ as a backend administrator in a web-based hosted SaaS environment.
  • Prior experience supporting configurations, enhancements, and customizations in Clarity PPM ModernUX, including advanced level knowledge of Clarity PPM tool functions and capabilities (e.g., Clarity Security, Resource Management, Portfolio Management, Financial Management, Time Management modules/UI) and working knowledge of technical modules, including GEL Scripting, XOG processing, Data Marts, Time slices, NSQL, all other Clarity Studio Customizations; Clarity Portlet Development; JasperSoft Report Development; SOAP; SQL.
  • Prior experience supporting Clarity PPM application with SAP/ERP integration.
  • Ability to independently troubleshoot Clarity PPM production issues.
  • Experience providing Clarity PPM Level 2, & Level 3 support.
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications and documentation skills.
  • Excellent analytical, debugging, and technical problem-solving skills.
  • Strong commitment to quality and excellence, ability to communicate effectively, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where multi-tasking and prioritizing are necessary.
  • Technical Skills: Clarity PPM in web-hosted environments, SFTP, SQL, NSQL, Oracle.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Globalscape, AWS, Python, GEL Scripting, XOG Processing, ServiceNow, Slack.
  • Experience with GITHUB for source control, JIRA, RPA.
  • Prior experience with Clarity and SAP integrations.
  • Experience in supporting large-scale businesses and time entry systems.

Required Education

  • Bachelor's or Equivalent.

Additional Information

  • In between role, between Developer roles and Tech Support roles.
  • The Platform Engineer is in charge of ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the platform, including functionality questions and support. It is by nature more functional and repetitive.

Responsibilities

  • Platform Maintenance and Support:
    • Provide expert platform support of critical 24x7 Clarity PPM production processes and integrations to support all portfolio, project, time entry, resource, and financial forecast reporting for DX Tech & Digital organization.
    • Respond to and update support tickets and requests as needed.
    • Provide excellent service to end-users as needed.
  • Clarity Studio Utilization:
    • Utilize Clarity Studio components like objects, portlets, processes, lookups, and PPM add-ins to support solutions and develop fixes as necessary.
  • Monitoring and Troubleshooting:
    • Execute, monitor, troubleshoot, determine root cause, and develop/validate jobs/processes for all regular sustainment activities to ensure uptime and reliability of existing Clarity PPM and integrations.
    • Resolve common PPM integration issues and escalate complex issues to Sustainment Lead when unable to resolve.
  • Administrative and Reporting Tasks:
    • Perform administrative and data reporting tasks as needed.
    • Ensure integrity of Disney development, change management, and security policies.
  • Change Management and Maintenance Support:
    • Support change management and vendor planned maintenance validation activities, including coordinating activities for environment maintenance, data refreshes, product patches, and product upgrades.
    • Create documentation for deployment and support activities.
  • Documentation and Training:
    • Assist in creation of Standard Operating Procedures, documentation, and training.
