Job Responsibilities:

- Ensure the highest standards of quality, consistency and presentation for the food service
- Management of kitchen operations including on hands daily preparation and cooking, working with your culinary team, scheduling, purchasing, managing food cost, menu development and administration duties.
- Participate in the development of new recipes, menus and programs

-Training, scheduling and managing all kitchen staff

-Daily Preparation, Supervision and coordinating culinary activities on and off site

-Establishing the techniques of food presentation

-Establishing food quality standards

-Assisting with planning and pricing the menus

-Ensuring that all kitchen equipment works and is maintained properly

-Ensuring the kitchen is always safe and sanitary

-40-45 hour a week based on booked events

-Day Shift and Occasional Weekends

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 Years Off Premise Catering Experience

Culinary Degree a Plus

2 Years Sous Chef Experience

Serv Safe Certification                                                                                                                  Moderated Chef with a Passion for Food                                                                              Must be available Mornings, Days and Occasional Weekends

Basic Computer Skills for ordering, food cost, menu development and inventory

Reliable Team Player

Hourly Wage:  $ 26-$28 hour/ plus tip share

Compensation after 1 year:

Eligible for simple IRA

2 weeks PTO

Jules Gourmet Catering provides unique and refined full-service catering services. Originally known as The Mason Jar Restaurant and Ale House, the business has developed into a full-service catering company and has been serving the Denver and Boulder metro areas for more than 26 years.  We are located in Louisville, CO.

The company is family-owned and operated by Joe, Mary, and Julie Dunigan. Julie (Jules) is the namesake, operations manager, event coordinator and is also a Certified Executive Chef.            Graduating from The Culinary Institute of America Hyde Park, New York in 1987.

Julies love for food and passion for the hospitality industry led her to an expansive career in both front and back of the house operations. All of which, gave her the knowledge and experience to produce events from start to finish. Her experienced eye and coordinating expertise are invaluable for any apprehensive event planner
