POSITION SUMMARY:

Prepares portions and serves a variety of baked goods and desserts from scratch, according to production plans and standardized recipes, in accordance with current federal, state, and Balfour Retirement Community standards.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for daily pastries and desserts in a high-volume environment
• Prepare food items according to designated recipes & quality standards in a timely manner
• Maintain cleanliness & comply with food sanitation standards
• Stock, maintain & ensure proper storage & refrigeration of an adequate supply of all prepared items

Schedule: Tues.-Sat. 4am-12pm

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, & SKILLS REQUIRED:

• Culinary Arts training or institutional cooking/baking experience preferred
• Minimum 3 years restaurant baking or bakery experience.
• Able to operate various food service equipment.
