Leading commercial and specialty printing company in western MA is busy. Due to expansion and client demand the company is searching to hire a Lead Sheetfed Press Operator for day shift.
Responsibilities include:

  • Read and interpret job orders.
  • Make ready, operation and maintenance of multi unit 40" Komori sheetfed offset press.
  • Check print quality throughout the runs.
  • Print quality products on schedule meeting or exceeding client expectations.
  • Troubleshoot press problems as they occur.
  • Lead person over press helper.
  • Take part in client press okays.

Qualifications include:

  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years' experience operating multi-unit 40" offset sheetfed presses; experience on Komori a plus.
  • UV experience a plus.
  • Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills required.
  • Good eye for color required.
  • Able to direct and lead press helper.
