Pay Rate: $17.00 /hourly

Job Description:

Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the upkeep of our facilities. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. The General Labor Maintenance Worker will work under the supervision of the maintenance supervisor to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform cleaning activities such as dusting, mopping etc.
  • Perform minor repairs. 
  • Conduct maintenance tasks. 
  • Maintain, service, clean and safely store equipment.
  • Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
  • Inspect and repair all damages to building surfaces.
  • Report to a facilities or maintenance manager for issues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and health and safety regulations.
  • Perform other related duties and activities as required.
  • Stacking lifting and moving product manually 
  • Janitorial duties

Qualifications:

  • Hands on experience with hand and electrical tools
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be able to move 50 lbs. 
  • Must be able to stand 100% of the time while working.  
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as lifting, walking, stooping, handling, and moving heavy objects.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, drug, and alcohol screening.
