Job Title: Payroll Specialist

Location: Hybrid (3950 Shackleford Rd, Duluth, GA)

Duration: 6 Months (with possible extension)

Payrate: $25/hr. to $31/hr.

Shift: 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week, Onsite Wednesday and Thursday (8am-5pm)

Responsibilities:

  • Process hourly and salaried payrolls for US employee populations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws.
  • Resolve customer service issues and discrepancies related to payroll.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for US payroll-related matters.
  • Maintain payroll records and databases.
  • Provide analysis and support on payroll projects assigned by management.
  • Maintain time and attendance systems to ensure accurate data for payroll processing.
  • Adhere to departmental and organizational schedules and deadlines for payroll.
  • Complete yearly uploads and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

 

Requirements:

  • CPP or FPC designation is highly preferred.
  • Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in business, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Union payroll experience would be helpful.
  • 3-5 years of full-cycle payroll administration work experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
  • Experience with multi-state payroll taxes, including California, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
  • Knowledge of payroll practices and HRIS systems, including PeopleSoft.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with all employee levels across multiple business units and functional areas.

 

You will need to complete the assessment of making a Pivot Table. Otherwise, your profile will not be considered.
