Radiology Technologist

Location: Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, & Bronx

Job Description:

Winston is seeking experienced Radiology Technologists to join our dynamic team in various locations, including Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, and the Bronx. This role involves performing diagnostic imaging examinations and collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and optimal patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic examinations as ordered by physicians, ensuring high-quality imaging results.
  • Properly position patients and operate radiographic equipment to capture accurate images.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure for patients and staff.
  • Maintain and operate radiologic equipment, ensuring it is in proper working condition.
  • Accurately document patient records and imaging reports.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare team members to review and discuss imaging results.
  • Provide compassionate care and clear instructions to patients during imaging procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiography Technologist program.
  • Certified and Registered in Radiologic Technology (ARRT certification).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Radiology Technologist.
  • Minimum Licensing Requirements New York State License (L.R.T.) o NY State IV Certification
  • Proficiency in operating radiographic equipment and performing diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Strong understanding of radiographic techniques, positioning, and safety protocols.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining patient records and reports
