About the Role:

The Creative & Marketing Coordinator is responsible for providing strategic design, guidance, coordination, and support to the branding, marketing, and enlightenment aspects. This role ensures production of and alignment of creative strategies with company objectives, fosters collaboration among its employees, and maintains consistent branding and messaging across all promotional avenues, initiatives & communication lines.

Essential Responsibilities:

1. High quality, strategically branded artwork & promotion designed, based on survey and analysis, which results in new business.

2. Effective promotional items, distributed, resulting in a flood of new qualified leads.

3. Enhance the organization’s local & online presence, engaging potential clients, and supporting overall marketing efforts.

4. Pre-qualified borrowers, investors and licensed referral sources enlightened on the organizations services who wish to do business with us.

 

Key Duties:

Strategic Oversight and Coordination:

1. Provide leadership and direction in the development and implementation of creative strategies across the Branding, Marketing, and Enlightenment aspects of this company.

2. Coordinate efforts among the employees, to ensure cohesive execution of branding, marketing campaigns, and enlightenment initiatives.

3. Collaborate with the company Execs to refine strategies, set priorities, and allocate resources effectively.

 

Branding & Marketing:

1. Conduct analyses & surveys for marketing purposes to develop effective strategies, resulting in understanding our customers’ preferences and needs.

2. Conduct regular analyses & surveys to evaluate customer satisfaction and identify areas of success and areas needing improvement.

3. Enhance the company brand with proper messaging.

4. Design a quarterly promo plan and together with the Social Networker, utilize software to efficiently get it scheduled to automatically blast to the proven marketing avenues (emails, social media platforms, YouTube, blog sites).

5. Develop a monthly email campaign to go to all past borrowers, investors, referral sources & affiliates, to keep them informed and active.

6. Working with the Company Execs, design and development a monthly newsletter campaign that goes to the various markets/online platforms to create new borrowers, investors & referral partners.

7. Design promotional items & campaigns for strategic partnership development, such as real estate & mortgage panels and sponsorships, local and zoom hard money “seminars” for enlightenment & referral business, etc.

8. Subject Matter Expert to get blogs written, posted & sent around, educating our potential borrowers, investors and referral partners of Brokers & Real Estate Agents.

 

Social media - Overseeing & working with the Social Networker on the following:

1. Design and implement social media strategies to align with the organization’s.

2. Analyze market trends and stay updated with industry-related developments to incorporate into social media strategies.

3. Manage, create, and publish original, high-quality content on social platforms.

4. Administer all company social media accounts ensuring up-to-date content.

5. Manage all social media accounts of the company to ensure no new investor or loan reaches are missed or potential business relationships.

6. Develop and curate engaging content for various social media platforms (Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, etc.) tailored to the mortgage & real estate industries.

7. Create multimedia content such as images, videos, and infographics to enhance audience engagement, working with the company Execs as needed to create the content.

8. Ensure all content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, and tone of voice.

9. Actively engage with followers by responding to comments, messages, and customer queries in a timely manner.

10. Foster a positive community and add value to users’ interactions with the brand.

 

Analytics and Reporting – Overseeing & working with the Social Networker:

1. Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews from customers.

2. Track and analyze analytics reports to gain insight on traffic, demographics, and effectiveness of each email & social media campaign.

3. Adjust strategies based on analytical findings to optimize future campaigns.

4. Maintains all company CRMs/Databases to ensure they are up to date.

5. Maintain statistics & tracking of the production from the marketing & promotional actions.

6. Collaborate with other departments (customer relations, sales etc.) to manage reputation, identify key players and coordinate actions.

 

Enlightenment & Leads – Overseeing & working with the Social Networker:

1. Manages all new prospect inquiries preferably with a few hour response turnaround, connecting them up appropriately with the correct company employee as needed.

2. Ensures standard pre-qualification actions are carried out on all potential borrowers & investors.

3. Ensures the “Buddy Broker” and “New Investor” procedures are maintained so we are in compliance with all lending & financial regulations.

4. Manages all open house events & marketing meetings, updating CRM on new contacts.

5. Create, implement & execute Lead Generation actions on all social media platforms, to create more business into the office from new referral sources, new borrowers & new investors.

 

Compliance and Brand Integrity

1. Ensure that all posts and interactions are compliant with the strict regulations governing advertising and public communications in the mortgage industry.

2. Protect the organization’s brand integrity by monitoring social media channels for misinformation or misuse associated with the brand.

 

Team Support and Development:

1. Serve as a mentor and resource for the company employees & execs, offering guidance, feedback, and support to enhance marketing team performance.

2. Foster a collaborative and creative work environment, encouraging cross-departmental communication and knowledge sharing.

3. Identify training and development opportunities to strengthen the skills and capabilities of marketing team members.

4. Keep up to date with advances in social media technology and the latest social media platforms & email marketing techniques.

5. Maintain professional relationships with social media and marketing industry peers and vendors to stay informed about emerging trends and tools.

 

Qualifications:

1. Experience in Marketing communications, Copywriting & Design.

2. A bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent) in Marketing, Communications or related field is preferred, though not required.

3. Proven experience (at least 2 years) in a creative leadership role, with a focus on strategic planning and coordination.

4. Strong understanding of branding principles, marketing strategies, and market research methodologies.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the organization.

6. Proficiency in project management tools and creative software (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite or Photoshop program).

7. Ability to think strategically, solve problems creatively, and adapt to changing priorities in a dynamic environment.

8. A true affinity for marketing and promotion subjects & activities in general.

Language Requirements: Proficiency in written and verbal communication skills in English is essential. The ability to convey complex ideas clearly and concisely, as well as to adapt communication styles to different audiences (internal and public facing) is critical for ensuring successful collaboration.

Physical Requirements: This position primarily involves office-based work in a standard office environment. Physical demands are generally limited to prolonged periods of sitting or standing, working at a computer, and engaging in verbal communication. Occasional travel may be required for meetings, presentations, or events, necessitating the ability to sit or stand for extended periods, navigate transportation, carrying somewhat heavy items such as banners, box of fliers, etc. and performing typical office-related tasks while away from the primary workspace.

Work Environment: Shared work environment.

Hours:
This position is full-time, 40-hour week in the office, Monday – Friday from 8:30am to 4:30pm. There is a paid 30 min lunch break and an additional work break mid-morning & midafternoon.
